⚙️Blockchain

All of the resources you get from Orbis Worlds and the artificial resources and products that you create are stored in the blockchain as NFT. Blockchain data is distributed, stored securely, and based on decentralized governance protocols, ownership of each NFT can be recognized.

Recognition of ownership in the metaverse means that there are various opportunities.

  • The resources and creativity you've gained from your efforts can be recognized as assets and traded on the marketplace.

  • NFT is highly interoperable. so it can be used for projects inspired by or above Orbis worlds.

Blockchain technology and NFT concepts were developed. We are at the metaverse entrance. If the product of your time-consuming effort is confined to one game, it can disappear at any time when the service is terminated. But with a blockchain-based metaverse, the community itself can build and maintain their world. In this semi-permanent world, various metaverse are derived, and all products can be recognized as their own property for a long time.

Galaxy Protocol

Orbis worlds are operated based on Galaxy Protocol that is a community owned chain. And It can interoperate with the cosmos ecosystem. The concept of interchain pursued by the cosmos ecosystem is the core of Orbis Worlds. Not only can it communicate with various protocols in the cosmos ecosystem, but also can communicate with NFT world in the Ethereum protocol using Ether-bridge. There is a possibility that it will be expanded to Solana and Polygon in the future.

Currently, blockchain's NFT technology is designed to innovate security and data ownership, so the user experience is relatively inconvenient in terms of speed and scalability. Due to these limitations, we will initially store all assets as NFTs and utilize centralized servers for some services, but as technology advances, we will implement a completely decentralized metaverse by allowing much of Orbis Worlds to be handled by blockchain protocols.
